Terms
The deal, in plain words
A sample library run by one person, filled by the people who use it. Using the site means agreeing to what follows.
What you can do with the samples
Download them and use them in your music — released or not, free or paid, commercial or not. No credit required, no licence fee, no royalty.
What you cannot do is redistribute the library itself: reuploading the packs, reselling them as a sample pack, or passing them off as your own collection. The samples are for making things with, not for republishing.
What you promise when you send one
Only send audio you actually have the right to give away. That means:
- You made it, or you have the maker’s permission.
- It does not contain somebody else’s recording, sample pack or stem that you are not allowed to pass on.
- You are giving everyone here permission to use it under the terms above, and that permission does not expire.
You keep ownership of what you made. You are not signing it over — you are letting it be used.
What we can do
Anything sent here can be refused, renamed, retagged, or removed — including after it has been accepted, and including because somebody credibly says it was not yours to send. A sample already downloaded cannot be recalled from the people who downloaded it, which is one more reason to only send what is yours.
Accounts
An account is optional and exists so your profile and connections follow you between devices. You are responsible for the Google account you sign in with. We can close an account that is being used to abuse the site or the people on it.
No warranty
This is a free site run for the love of it. It is provided as is: it may go down, lose data, or disappear. Nothing here is guaranteed to be fit for any particular purpose, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what happens from using it.
Changes
These terms can change; the date below says when they last did. Anything you disagree with goes to hello@fourondafloor.com.
